Bellariffic Friday Goes Back To School

*** Please click the link or scroll down to see my KRAFTIN’ KIMMIE STAMPS PREVIEW DAY 2 POST ***

It’s Bellariffic Friday again!  And am I ever happy to see Friday this week.

Lindabella had the bright idea of making this week’s theme “Back to School”, and yeah, I was one of the whiners.  I don’t really have any school themed stamps in my Stamping Bella collection, so I ummed and ahhed for a while over which stamp to use!  In the end, I went with one of my favourite stamps – YOU ARE UNIQUE – well, part of it!  I love cutting this one up (see my Mini Cards Post)

Stamping Bella - You Are Unique

Isn’t she just the cutest?!

I coloured her with Copic Markers and paired her up with Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper (Cosmo Cricket 6×6 Mini Decks are available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).

That’s it from me for today!  Make sure you check out BLOGGABELLA to see what the other Babes and the Sistahood have been up to!

NEXT WEEK’S BELLARIFFIC FRIDAY THEME: It’s a sketch!!!  Just create a card following the sketch below, using stamps from Stamping Bella and email it over to Em by Thursday evening!  You could be in with the chance of winning some Bella Bucks, and who couldn’t use some of those?

Paper Makeup Stamps Release Hop – Kat

I am thrilled to join in with the latest Paper Makeup Stamps release hop today!  The designs from Paper Makeup Stamps are among my favourites; I fell in love with the gorgeous fairies and brilliant monster designs as soon as I saw them (which is why I stock them at Quixotic Paperie), so when Katie asked me to join in with the fun, it was an easy decision!!

You should have hopped over here from LISA’S BLOG. If not, you’ll want to go back to the beginning at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog and enjoy all the fabulous inspiration along the hop, plus, if you follow the whole hop you could win the whole new release – yep, one lucky winner could win the lot, so make sure you check out the post on the Paper Makeup Stamps blog to get all the details!

Plus, along the hop you will find letters at each stop!  Do the hop in order and you will get a phrase!  You can use this phrase at Paper Makeup Stamps in the US to enjoy a discount on the stamps!

For my card today I used one of the beautiful new fairies – KAT (Kat will be available in the UK tonight along with the rest of the Paper Makeup Stamps range at Quixotic Paperie).

Paper Makeup Stamps - Kat - available at www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk

Gorgeous, isn’t she?  And a perfect match for the yummy Echo Park Sweet Summertime papers.   The crystal swirls were created using 3mm and 4mm clear crystals and a Bazzill Basics Jewel Template!

Coloured with Copics.

If you’re in the US you will be able to grab the stamps direct from Paper Makeup Stamps as of tonight!  If you’re in the UK/Europe then you will find them in the Paper Makeup Stamps section at Quixotic Paperie tonight!

Bellariffic Friday – Batty For You!

It’s Bellariffic Friday!!  And this week is the first with our fab new line up!  Can’t wait to see what the rest of the Babes have to show today!

The theme this week was ANIMALS!  So, as I am feeling all Halloween at the moment, I inked up the brilliant BATTIFUL DARLING.  And, if you’re quick, you can grab this one as part of the current Tantalizing Toosday offers - it’s a STEAL!!!

Stamping Bella - Battiful Darling!

The “moon” was created using a circle Nestabilities die and the Copic Airbrushing System.  I popped it up on foam pads, then cut out the bat and popped him up on foam pads too.  I used the fabulous Echo Park Happy Halloween papers and alpha stickers.  LOVE.  (Echo Park Happy Halloween and other collection kits are available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).

Coloured with Copic Markers: W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, W8, 100, R21

Next week’s Bellariffic Theme is: BACK TO SCHOOL!  Create a back to school themed card/project, using stamps from Stamping Bella and email it over to Em by Thursday evening!  You could be in with the chance of winning some Bella Bucks, and who couldn’t use some of those?

Quixotic Challenge #39: Simonne’s Colour Challenge

*** Click the link to enter my latest ELAINE’S SWEET SELECTION CANDY DRAW! ***

Time for another Quixotic Challenge!  This week Simonne has set us a fab colour challenge!  Create something using BLACK, WHITE AND ONE OTHER COLOUR!  Your creation could be a card or other crafty project, as long as it follows the rules posted over in the sidebar of the challenge blog!

For my card I have used one of the fab Victoria Case for SCACD  Winter Wonderland images – Winter.  I love these, and didn’t get time to use them last year.  Expect to see more of these over the next few months as I start working my way through my Christmas card list!

v

The yummy paper is from the Basic Grey – Jovial 6×6 Pad.  LOVE it.  This particular design makes me feel all warm and cosy, as when I was little my parents had a blanket that looked like this.

The image was coloured with Copics:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R21 Eyes: B0000, B52 Hair: C3, C5, C8, 100
Outfit: C3, C5, C7, C8, 100, B63, R22, R24, R27, R29 Dog: W1, W2, W3, W5, C5, C7, 100, R20, R22

I added some Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Holo-Iridescent to make the snow all sparkly.  I couldn’t find my Polar White FlowerSoft, so I added some Doodlebug Flocking to the trim on her coat.  The bow was of course, tied using the Bow-Easy!

If you are in the US, you can buy all the Victoria Case for SCACD stamps direct from Susana’s Custom Art & Card Design, along with Copic Markers,  Basic Grey 6×6 pads, the Bow-Easy, FlowerSoft and Viva Decor products!
